REFRAMED

Negatvie (N)ellie

I seriously don’t have words. Which is ironic, because anyone who has been here for even a minute knows I usually have far too many words.

There were moments I truly wondered if this day would ever come. And now that it’s here, I just want to scream my testimony of God’s timing from the rooftops. He is in control. He knows what He is doing. I will never be worthy of His love.

In the upcoming weeks you will probably receive more information on this book than you ever wanted, but for now, here is a repost of the blurb.

Thank you, to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I am completely in awe of your love.

Chet Young has been searching for home since he left Texas just before his senior year of high school. A move to Utah, a mission, college, and his travels as a web designer have given him the wings he needed for that pursuit, but his seeking has still yielded fruitless. Guided by the brotherly need to care for his sister and her broken heart, Chet heads back to Utah, again. Where he meets Mari.

Mari will never get married. She will never entertain the idea of marriage. Forever and always, she will stand on her own two feet. Her father taught her the need for that, a lesson she is eternally grateful for. Caring for herself, and the limited people she lets into her circle, is the sole purpose of her life. She doesn’t need or want anything else.

In a series of unfortunate events, Mari finds herself in the one situation she refused to ever find herself: in need of someone else’s aid. Even worse, she has to accept that help from the last person on earth she would ever wish to: Chet Young.

Through the Chet Taxi service, Mari and Chet grow to be close friends. However, that is not the title either wishes for the other. While Chet is hoping for something more, Mari continues to hope for less. However, when similar family situations, a few catastrophes, and of course, meddling friends and family become involved, Mari has to work very hard to maintain the life adage she swore to stick by: Solidarity.

So, will Chet be able to convince Mari that needing someone is not a sign of weakness? Will Mari ever see that there is more to life than just living? Will the two find home in each other? Pick up Reframed to find out.

Reframed is the first book in the Young Family Love Stories series, a set of sweet, Latter-day Saint Romances that will have you heart skipping a beat, your stomach cramping with laughter, and your soul touched by the lessons that draw one closer to Christ.
